The role

Make a real impact on residents day-to-day experience of their homes.

As a Responsive Repairs Planner(Scheduler), youll be the key lead for defined geographical patches, owning our maintenance scheduling diary end to end. Youll diagnose and book works to drive first-time fixes, coordinate seamlessly with the Operational Support and Customer Services teams, and serve as the first point of contact for all scheduling enquiries liaising directly with residents, operatives and partners to resolve issues quickly, professionally and in line with our standards.

Youll keep appointments on track, triage urgent jobs, and help us meet SLAs and KPIs while living our HEART values (Honest, Efficient, Accountable, Respectful, Trusted). You'll be based from our Newport, Isle of Wight office with the opportunity for hybrid working by agreement with your manager.

Please note, this role is being offered on a Fixed Term Contract / Secondment until28th May 2027, working 35 hours a week.

What youll need

  • Qualified to GCSE/OLevel standard or similar.
  • Experience of scheduling work in a maintenance environment and can demonstrate.
  • Experience of delivering a front line, customer focussed service.
  • Experience of working in a housing management or maintenance environment.
  • Experience of working on an inner city, multi-cultural environment and working closely with tenants
