Freelance Administrator \n\nLocation: Sunderland (Office Based)\n\nJob Type: Freelance \n\nHours: Full time\n\nRate: Competitive, dependent on experience\n\nWe are a growing social housing contractor based in Sunderland, delivering high-quality maintenance, refurbishment, and compliance services to housing providers across the region. We are looking for a reliable and organised Freelance Administrator to support our day-to-day operations.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nThis is a varied administrative position that plays a key role in keeping our projects running smoothly. You'll be responsible for supporting the office with general administration, coordinating documentation, and ensuring excellent communication between clients, operatives, and management.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nGeneral office administration and filing.\n\t\nAnswering telephone calls and responding to emails.\n\t\nScheduling appointments and coordinating works.\n\t\nUpdating internal systems and maintaining accurate records.\n\t\nProcessing purchase orders, invoices, and timesheets.\n\t\nLiaising with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and site operatives.\n\t\nPreparing reports and supporting contract managers with administrative tasks.\n\t\nEnsuring documentation is accurate and completed on time.\n\t\nAssisting with compliance paperwork and project documentation.\n\nRequirements\n\nPrevious experience in an administrative role (experience within construction, property maintenance, or social housing is desirable).\n\t\nExcellent organisational and time management skills.\n\t\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.\n\t\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.\n\t\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks.\n\t\nHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail.\n\t\nA proactive and positive approach to problem-solving
