As a Learning Consultant you will participate in the development, deployment and facilitation of 'World Class Learning' across UK & Ireland (UK&I). You may also be required to contribute to activities or projects across the wider UK&I Talent Development function.The opportunityThis is a fantastic opportunity to work in a highly sought after department at EY, with colleagues across a variety of teams and functions.The role involves relationship management of multiple stakeholders and project management in deploying 'World Class Learning' across UK&I in line with the Global operating model for Learning Deployment.You will have the opportunity to partner with our service line contacts as a trusted business advisor, using knowledge and experience of blended learning solutions to deliver training events that meet the needs of the business and enhance the Talent Development brand.Your key responsibilitiesOverall strategic deployment of a portfolio of courses or large scale training events for the Assurance Service Line, from initial planning through execution to evaluation and analysisBuild and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the management of facilitators across your portfolio of coursesManage costs within the budget by identifying the most cost-effective solutions and maintaining visibility of current and future spendMaintain a thorough understanding of, and adhere to, the Global Operating Model for Learning DeploymentCoach and partner with the UK&I Learning Coordinators and the Talent Shared Services (TSS) Learning Administrators to increase their knowledge, skills and abilityMaintain a thorough understanding of mandatory/regulatory training requirements and oversee close monitoring of attendance records and escalation of non-attendanceSupport the wider UK&I Talent Development function by undertaking other strategic, operational, evaluative or developmental activities and projectsSkills and attributes for successAbility to perform as a trusted business advisorExcellent people management, coaching and interpersonal skillsHighly organised with a sound attention to detail and an ability to deliver to deadlinesProactive problem solverExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong IT skills - Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, WordTo qualify for the role you must haveA passion for providing high quality learning for our peopleThe ability to interact well with people at all levels within the firmExperience of, and an aptitude for, project management within a professional environmentIdeally, you'll also haveEnthusiasm for, and evidence of, course/programme managementThe ability to juggle conflicting demands and to prioritise effectivelyThe ability to pre-empt deadlines and pursue colleagues for relevant informationA desire to embrace and drive change whilst identifying and supporting process improvements and demonstrating best practiceThe ability to learn new processes and skills quicklyThe ability to work well unsupervised and use initiative where requiredWhat we look forAn enthusiastic and dedicated individual with strong project management skills and experience of operating in a professional environment.
