The SAP Architect (SAP, Designer) role:

Working within the Sales function, the SAP Architect (SAP, Designer) isresponsible for the overall design of a solution, mapping a customer sbusiness requirements onto an effective systems/technical solution. Thisactivity to begin within the pre-sales environment and continues throughto the successful delivery of the solution.

The Main Aim of the SAP Architect (SAP, Designer) is to support thesales team s goal of winning commercially viable Nett New Customerprojects to Edenhouse as well as supporting the construction ofcompelling proposals for all of Edenhouse customers.

Key Tasks of the SAP Architect (SAP, Designer):

Construction of SAP Architectural Designs including Solution Designs/ Blueprints and Functional Specifications, based on businessrequirements documents, data models, etc.
Work on projects during the design, development, test andimplementation phases in accordance with the context provided by theProject Manager.
Work effectively with other departments as and when required.
Provide technical and functional expertise for system design,testing, implementation and support.

Desired Skills and Experience of the SAP Architect (SAP, Designer):

We are looking for a broad experience across FICO, HR, SRM, CRM, SD,MM, BI, Portals and manufacturing. The key issue for us being breadthand not depth. The Solution Architect role is not to QA what thefunctional consultants have identified but to ensure there are no gapsin the interconnections between the workstreams. Ultimately we want theSolution Architect to be able to tell us that we have a fully integratedsolution that will address the customer s needs and satisfy the usercommunity.

Substantial experience of SAP Architectural design & developmentacross SAP.
Working knowledge of structured software development methodology.
Experience of working in a complex landscape with multiple systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Ability to understand business requirements and provide creativetechnical solutions that work within the technical boundaries
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability toclearly communicate and share solutions with fellow team members
Experience with the full software development life cycle, includingdesign, testing, deployment, and documentation activities.
