Regional Operations Manager- Critical Buildings Midlands required by my client a global organization in the energy sector. The salary is negotiable depending on experience with an excellent list of benefits.The ideal candidate will have a good amount of experience within Building controls and BMS systems.Your responsibilities:*This is a hands-on customer facing position and the successful candidate must work well with a team and interface directly with contractors and end-users daily.*The Systems Operations Manager role will report to the Regional Systems Leader and work closely with the project sponsors and project management team to define the project objectives and create a plan for executing those objectives. Dependant on the Systems demand, the role will include working on multiple projects or a single specific project in Europe. The Operations Manager has an excellent working knowledge of the technical and operational environment in which the project deliverables are created and in which they are used.*The Operations Manager must be an excellent communicator at all levels both internally and externally in the project environment, be proactive and exhibit strong leadership qualities and be able to adapt to a dynamic and geographically disbursed environment.*Responsibilities for meeting the scope, schedule, resource and budget commitments reflected in the Project Management Plan.*Lead or work with the project management team in developing and managing the Project Management Plan within the constraints established and approved by the Project Sponsors.*Implement or ensure enforcement of change control over the project scope, schedule, resources and budget.*Negotiate with functional managers and/or organisational management to obtain adequate resources with appropriate skills to staff the project team.*Manage timely resolution of issues, including the escalation of issues that are outside of the project teams scope of responsibility.*Continually identify and proactively manage project risks and issues, ensure execution of corrective action plans up to closure.*Monitor the project report and report the project status to the management on a regular basis.*Large Regional Projects, high need for coordination, large project teams, large budget*The post will required extensive travel outside of home area to sites as required.Required *Experience in Project Management of large and critical buildings including large sub-contract packages.*Leadership in project management team.*Advantage to have experience in construction type project management.*MBA or similar level experiencePlease send your CV for immediate review.
