This company is the largest supplier to the UK's jewellery industry, offering customers over 18,000 products in various precious metals including silver, gold, palladium and platinum. They require a Team Leader to join their existing Business Intelligence Team, part of the Finance department. You will support the business through set up and maintenance of all master data in order to ensure seamless transactions through procurement to point of sales. The main responsibilities of the role are: - To monitor and protect profitability within the business. - To provide business modelling support. - To complete the Annual Costing Model process. - To provide accurate and complete "Added Value" Stock Valuation for sales and work in progress. The successful candidate will have: - Ideally hold an appropriate professional accounting qualification or be part qualified (CIMA, ACCA etc.) or QBE. - Have Microsoft Excel skills up to an advanced level (pivot tables, v-lookups, index match) - Have previously worked within a Manufacturing background in a cost accountant capacity. - Practical experience of standard costing - Ability to work to strict deadlines - Experience of managing a team - Ability to handle large amounts of data, transfer, compile and report - A high level of attention to detail - Good/Clear Communication Skills - Experience in Precious Metals/Jewellery Trade would be advantageous Hours of work: Total 37.5 hours per week, working a pattern of Monday - Thursday 08.30-16.45, Friday 08.30 - 15.30 with a 30 minute lunch break each day. Salary: £30 - £35K dependant on experience.
