2nd Line Support Team Leader

The Client

An international law firm, working within the private and public sector with government organisations and financial institutions on a worldwide basis.

The Role

To supervise the Customer Support teams in Birmingham for the provision of 1st and 2nd line support to Midlands based offices. Reporting to the Head of Customer Support the teams who will supervise provide first and second line application and hardware support including desktop operating systems, printers, hardware configuration of standard kit, installation of new and existing application software with emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite.

The Person

Able to commit to a six to nine month fixed term contract.

Supervisory/team leading experience in a second line customer facing role. Experience in a legal or professional environment, strong 2nd line support skills including Microsoft 2000/XP, Outlook, Exchange, Active Directory, remote and mobile working environment. Project management experience beneficial, experience supporting telephone and video conferencing equipment also advantageous.

The Package

This is a fixed term contract role, initially a six month contract with the possibility of a three month extension. Salary will be £31-34,000 (pro rata).
